Jeffrey B. Caballero, MPH, to receive the Hepatitis B Foundation’s 2025 Community Leadership Award

Doylestown, Pa., March 17, 2025 – The Hepatitis B Foundation announced today (March 17) that Jeffrey B. Caballero, MPH, executive director of the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO), has been chosen for the Foundation’s 2025 Community Leadership Award.

The Hepatitis B Foundation’s Community Leadership Award recognizes individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to communities highly impacted by hepatitis B, hepatitis D and liver cancer. Awardees also demonstrate additional commitment to community service outside of the hepatitis B space.

“The award committee chose Mr. Caballero for his decades of leadership in eliminating health disparities related to hepatitis B and liver cancer, and more broadly to his lifetime commitment to improving the lives of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders,” Hepatitis B Foundation President Chari A. Cohen, DrPH, MPH, said. “We also recognize and deeply appreciate his support of the Hepatitis B Foundation, which he has helped elevate as a national leader.”
